Members shall reside in the Hillsborough, Merrimack, or Rockingham County area. Like all NCL, Inc. Chapters, Southern New Hampshire aims to foster the mother-daughter relationship by serving its communities together. The Southern NH Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. (established in 2012) is part of a national mother-daughter organization dedicated to serving the communities in which the chapters are formed and fostering the mother-daughter relationship. Currently, Southern NH Chapter has around 200 active members who volunteer at 11 philanthropic organizations in Southern New Hampshire. Our members contributed thousands of volunteer hours in our community last year. Our goal is to promote a sense of community responsibility in our daughters and strengthen our bond while growing together, sharing of ourselves, and improving our community. The daughters, along with their mothers, participate in a 6-year educational program of philanthropic work, leadership training, educational activities, and cultural events Join Our Chapter Interested in joining our chapter? A Prospective Member must be sponsored by a current member of our chapter. Membership opportunities are dependent on Chapter openings. Membership Inquiry Form For any questions regarding Membership, requests for transfers or assistance with connecting as a Sustainer, email us . The Southern New Hampshire Chapter, the only chapter in NH, began in the kitchen of Alyse Kanter’s home in August of 2012. There were 10 women present unaware of all that would be needed to start a chapter. Through compromise and hard work we toiled with our expansion chapter advisor to learn the ropes. Within 6 months, our year began with a kickoff sundae pajama party to meet all the membership totaling under 50 people. By November 2014 we became an official chapter of National Charity League, Inc. with more than 150 women. We are growing every year and blazing a trail in New Hampshire for more chapters to follow.
